Maybe you have always wanted to experience the thrill of learning to arm balance? During this 2,5h workshop you will progress rapidly in your arm balancing journey with safety and confidence to learn how to apply biomechanics of the selected peak asanas.
Through drills and conditioning we will prepare the whole body and give special awareness to the body parts we use the most in the practice of arm balancing. You will get insights into prerequisites for the arm balances as well as limitations.
What to expect?
Warm up (drills) targeting the core, hips, hamstrings, wrists and shoulders.
3 peak poses (advanced variations - modifications will be given).
Different drills to prepare the body for the practice - strength & flexibility.
Functionality of the arms and upper body.
Anatomy, biomechanics and alignment focus on shoulder strength.
