Silent Yoga Retreat

October 14th - October 19th, 2025 • Deià, Mallorca

Sink into silence and serenity — a six-day journey of yoga, reflection, and renewal in the peaceful Tramuntana Mountains of Mallorca

Nestled within the tranquil Tramuntana Mountains—an UNESCO World Heritage site—this silent yoga retreat guided by Nush invites you to embark on an inward journey at the historic Son Ru monastery just outside Deià.

There will be days of intentional silence where you will deepen your meditation and prānāyama practice, followed by guided Vinyasa sessions that support clarity and self-connection.

Each thoughtful moment—whether a gentle hike, restful sound bath, or a peaceful pause under ancient olive trees—is woven into the timeless rhythm of the mountains

What to expect

We will be practicing silence for about 2-3 days, allowing ourselves to dive deeper within, gain mental clarity, allow self-awareness and (re-)connect to nature.

Each day begins with a meditation and prānāyama practice followed by Vinyasa Yoga.

During the days in silence, all classes will be guided, so the teachers will be speaking.

Son Ru Monastery

Son Ru is a former 13th-century monastery located just outside the picturesque village of Deià, Mallorca. While only a short drive from the village, renowned for its natural beauty and artistic community, this unique property offers complete tranquility with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by ancient olive groves. Its located 30 minutes from Palma International Airport

Nush chose this extraordinary setting for our retreat because it holds space for both inward reflection and outward exploration. From gentle hikes to moments of stillness under ancient olive trees, every experience here is grounded in the timeless rhythm of the mountains.

This is a place where nature invites stillness, where simplicity reveals beauty, and where each path—literal or personal—leads somewhere meaningful. The Tramuntana is a feeling.

Meet your Teacher

Nurşin

Nurşin has been drawn to the practices of yoga since her early 20s. In 2013 when she lived in Byron Bay, she came across her first yoga āsana class and has been practicing ever since. She is a nature lover, especially drawn to the ocean and the early hours of the day. There is something really special about waking up early to do your sādhana (spiritual practice) or walk to your favourite coffee shop while the city is asleep.

Nurşin has completed many trainings, practiced Vipassana Meditation in the tradition of Goenka and keeps training regularly. With a strong interest in the philosophy of yoga, Sanskrit and the traditions of these ancient teachings, she weaves them together in her classes. India has definitely shaped her view on Yoga and has been a learning place where she likes to go back to.

In summer 2023 she produced and published her own podcast 'Yoga and the city' talking yoga, practice, relationships and contemporary topics of modern yoga.
