Space of Light Retreat

August 7th - August 10th, 2025 • Havelland, Germany

An interweaving of inner and outer nourishment — nature, good food, movement and sound.

For the second edition of this retreat, Klaudia Lewi has curated a series of sequences with an embodied approach — a holistic practice that weaves together Kundalini Yoga, movement, and sound, emphasizing the internal perception of body, mind, heart — and what lies beyond.

What to expect:

  • Daily 2-hour Kundalini practices to ground the mind and open the heart

  • Kriya Lab

  • Somatic movement to release and soothe

  • Gentle (Shake the Dust™️) workouts

  • Soundscapes

  • Sauna

  • Field walks, river talks, good food & lots of space to be — held in togetherness.

The Practice

Rooted in Kundalini Yoga technology, somatic movement, and deep listening practices.

  • Kundalini* Yoga — often called the yoga of awareness — is a practice of coming home to yourself.

It’s a space to rest in repetative movement and notice, meet what’s there — the breath, may be tension, emotion, the stories we carry — and begin to loosen their grip.

This practice helps us see what might be standing in the way of the life we imagine. Through movement, breath, mantra, sound, and stillness, we learn to work with these blocks — not by fighting them, but by showing up and allowing them to shift, soften.. They become part of the path, part of us.

Sometimes life brings intensity — overwhelm. Emotions rise, challenges appear. but instead of shutting down, freezing, or running away, you stay — open, even in the face of discomfort. Through practice, we begin to show up and notice: we don’t collapse. The system steadies. The mind clears. And something deep within says: I’m here for you.

Kundalini Yoga offers a direct, experience — not a concept or belief, but a felt sense. A practice that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and presence — both within and in the world around us.

“If only for a moment, we come home to the part of us that was never lost.”

Repetitive and simple in form, yet layered in impact, it's rhythm that reminds us — of who we are, where we’ve been, and what we’re capable of.

A practice of release and return. Of softening the shoulds — and meeting what’s already here.

*Kundalini comes from Sanskrit “kundala,”meaning "coiled," symbolizing dormant energy at the spine's base, linked to awakening and transformation)

  • MOVING INNER SPACES is a somatic movement practice that combines cardio, dance & kundalini yoga — a collective mountain climb toward meeting the top …

We move to ground the mind, to open the heart, to create space in the body. Space becomes both container and medium — a held field between movement and rest, where the unconscious can rise, be seen — if ready — be felt and expressed.

“When we create space in our body, we can access the innate wisdom that is within us.”

We remember what we’ve always known. By creating space in dense areas, we cultivate understanding, clarity, and alignment. We come into contact with what holds us back — not to push it away, but to soften, to listen, to yield into and to let it move — us, from within.

MOVING INNER SPACES is about what is present — not to hold back, but about sensing what we are afraid to accept — and moving not away, but toward it, .. allowing the chaos, the burn, the bliss, the liberation..

“Something that makes me feel so alive I almost can't take it anymore. Something that makes me want to quit a thousand times but still I open yet another doorway, and another, and another toward liberation.. toward freedom.”— Satu Tomala

We move to feel. We feel to remember. We remember to return. Over and over again, we meet ourselves — in motion, in stillness, in the spaces in between. We meet in resistance, we move in expression, and leave in connection.

  • SOUND is a practice of deep listening — an invitation to dissolve into vibration.

We enter not to act, but to receive. To be moved, not by effort, but by frequency.

Sound becomes a path guiding us through what lies beneath words, into sensation, into stillness, into the subtle.

We explore how to listen with the whole body. How to let vibration find the places untouched by language.

It moves through bone and breath, softens the nervous system, rearranges what has grown rigid.

No movement, no striving needed. Only presence. When we rest in resonance, something re-aligns — a return to your natural state of harmony.

“If we accept that sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. One reason sound heals on a physical level is because it so deeply touches and transforms us on the emotional and spiritual planes. Sound can redress imbalances on every level of physiologic functioning and can play a positive role in the treatment of virtually any medical disorder.”

Do I need to have a lot of kryia / yoga experience to take part?

This retreat is about deepening your relationship with the repetitive movement and the subtle layers of Kundalini Yoga. We’ll explore the practice in depth — if you're curious, open-minded, and willing to listen beyond the surface, it may resonate.

That said, some prior experience is helpful.

We don’t recommend this retreat as a first introduction to Kundalini Yoga.
