Fall Equinox Cacao & Authentic Movement Ceremony

  • Sarasvati Yoga 53 Bundesallee Berlin, BE, 10715 Germany (map)

Hosted by Mina Lange

As the light and dark meet in perfect balance, the Fall Equinox invites us to pause, reflect, and open to change. It marks the gentle shift from the outward energy of summer to the inward journey of autumn — a time to gather what we have grown and prepare for the quieter months ahead.

This year, the Equinox aligns with the New Moon — a moment of renewal, intention, and fresh beginnings. While the equinox invites balance and integration, the new moon whispers of planting seeds for what is to come. Together, these celestial events create a powerful threshold: an opportunity to both honor what has been and step consciously into the next chapter.

What to expect:

  • Cacao Ritual: We will gather in an intimate circle, beginning with a heart-opening cacao ritual. Ceremonial cacao, a sacred plant medicine, has been used for centuries to connect more deeply with ourselves, with others, and with the natural cycles around us. The warm, rich drink will support us in softening the mind and listening to the body’s subtle impulses.

  • Authentic Movement: From this grounded, open place, we will move into the practice of Authentic Movement — a simple yet profound form of self-exploration through free, improvised movement in the presence of a compassionate witness. With eyes closed, you will be invited to follow your body’s natural impulses, allowing movement, stillness, breath, and sensation to guide you. There is no choreography and no right or wrong way to move — only the unfolding of your inner landscape. The ceremony will flow between shared silence, movement, and gentle words, creating a safe container where presence, trust, and curiosity can grow.

  • Closing Circle: As we close, we will come together again in circle to reflect, share, and integrate the experience.

You don’t need any dance or movement background — simply bring your openness, comfortable clothes, and a willingness to listen to what wants to move through you.
