Chanting & Soundscapes

  • My Senses Berlin 11 Immanuelkirchstraße Berlin, BE, 10405 Germany (map)

Hosted by Vanine

About the event:

Explore two powerful modalities of sound healing: active vocal expression through chanting and passive sound immersion with live instruments. Begin with meditative breathwork, and flow into a chanting practice inspired by various traditions. Then, actively explore the effects of our own voices and group chanting on our bodies & state of consciousness. In the second half, you will shift your awareness to deep listening, receiving the vibrations of different frequencies, Tibetan bowls, tuning forks, drums, and other instruments. This passive sound experience allows for a deeper somatic and mental relaxation, opening us to a rich spectrum of soundscapes. The session then closes with silence, integrating the journey within.

About the facilitator:

After having explored and lived in many cultures, and experimented with a multitude of visual arts, the profound beauty of Gong became Vanine’s chosen home. She is fascinated and in awe of the experiential power of vibrations and frequencies. Space and matter dissipate and magic slowly sips into existence when Gong is played. She shares this love in her sonic journeys, with an intention of creating a serene refuge for those who seek it. Void, serenity, relaxation, or transformation, the vibrations reveal what you are ready to experience.

Tickets: €12.00 or book on USC/Classpass
