Elevate your yoga journey with this year-long advanced program blending Vinyasa Krama, Restorative techniques, and holistic Hatha yoga philosophy. Designed for teachers and experienced practitioners who have completed a 200-hour certification, this training deepens your personal practice, sharpens your teaching skills, and expands your expertise across regenerative and holistic methods.

Across 12 intensive weekends, plus monthly online follow-up sessions—you’ll refine your asana, pranayama, and meditation practice while gaining in-depth knowledge of anatomy, yoga philosophy, and teaching methodology. The curriculum weaves together Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Somatic yoga, fostering a mindful, technically informed, and creative approach to sequencing, assists, and class design.

Led by KALAA Yoga founders Stefanie and Manuela Berndt, alongside specialist tutors, the program emphasizes applied anatomy, conscious communication, and professional development. You’ll complete the course with a research project, final class, and a Yoga Alliance-recognized 300-hour certification—qualifying you for 500 total training hours.

  • Further development of the understanding of Vinyasa Krama in theory and practice and applying the method in traditional and modern contexts.

    Technically and anatomically informed asana practice to tap into more complex movement sequences. Cultivating a mindful and knowledgeable approach towards working with the body

    Advanced physical and mental training as well as self- practice as a foundation for teaching

  • Exploring the relaxing and regenerative aspects of yoga practice with the three main methods in this area:

    Restorative yoga - Regenerating the musculoskeletal and nervous system through prolonged Asanas and supporting the body with a variety of props
    Yin yoga - Opening deep structures and strengthening the internal organs through meditative and reflective yoga practice with influences from traditional Chinese medicine and Buddhism

    Somatic yoga - Releasing blockages and establishing healthy movement patterns by mobilizing the fascia, activating the deep musculature and through mindfulness training, introspection and self-awareness

  • Understanding, practicing and sharing yoga as a holistic system Deepening your meditation practice

    Learning to incorporate various Pranayama, concentration exercises as well as Mudra, Kriya and Mantra into yoga practice and teaching

    Developing and applying principles of Hatha yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra

  • Increased complexity of content, class structure, Asana sequencing, flow of movement, verbal instructions and Sanskrit terminology

    Developing creative class plans for a variety of yoga students and teaching situations

Meet your teachers

  • Stefanie Berndt is co-founder of KALAA Yoga Berlin and registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500). She has been teaching classes, workshops, trainings and retreats for over 15 years and is commited to one on one yoga tuition. She studied dance theatre in the Netherlands and discovered Vinyasa, Restorative yoga and mindfulness meditation with Cyndi Lee/Om Yoga. Further training in Hatha and Tantra yoga with Ishta Yoga Berlin, Sivananda Yoga India and YogSadhna with Indu Arora have impacted her practice. She is fascinated by yogic and Vedic philosophy and studies Advaita Vedanta and Leela Yoga in the tradition of Harish Johari.
    As an instructor, Stefanie immerses herself not only in the teaching of Asana and Vinyasa methodology, but also in yoga- specific ways of thinking as well as concepts of yoga anatomy and yoga philosophy. She specializes in holistic techniques such as Kriya, Pranayama, Restorative yoga and meditation.

  • Manuela Berndt came to yoga as a professional dancer and choreographer. She has completed various trainings in Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga, yoga therapy and Thai yoga massage. As a somatic coach, she is constantly expanding her knowledge of movement and anatomy and has been a student of Mary McDermott and Tias Little for many years. Her book ''Somatisches Training – Die Kraft der sanften Bewegung'' was published by riva Verlag in 2025.

    Manuela co-founded KALAA Yoga Berlin in 2011 and has over 20 years of teaching experience in various yoga schools, companies, training centers and other institutions.
    In her teaching practice, she shares Vinyasa Krama as a multi- faceted yoga system and specializes in somatic movement training. In the 300-hour teacher training, she focuses on applied anatomy, somatics, movement analysis as well as teaching methodology and didactics.

  • Die Krause is a physiotherapist and has accomplished various yoga, dance and gymnastics trainings. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in Hatha Vinyasa yoga with Henning Moog and received her certification as a manual therapist with an osteopathic concept at the Top-Physio training center in Berlin.

    Die constantly deepens her special interest in the anatomy of the moving human body in applied anatomy with Erik Franklin, in spiral dynamics with Brigitte Zehethofer and in fascia theory with Stefan Datt.

    Her second passion is Mantra yoga, which she regularly practices and develops further, amongst others with Aleah Gandharvika.

  • In addition to her work as an author, Janine Eck is a permanent member of the KALAA Yoga Berlin team. She accomplished her 200-hour and 300-hour yoga trainings here. She also completed a 100-hour Yin yoga training with Katrin Knauth. The rich experience of her profound self- practice and continuous training in yoga and meditation make Janine a very experienced and specialized teacher. In the 300-hour teacher training, she provides insights into the Yin yoga method.

Investment

  • Option 1: Early bird price: 4200 € / Payment of the entire amount by 31.07.2025

  • Option 2: Payment of the entire amount by 30.09.2025: 4500€

  • Option 3: Payment in 10 installments of 480€ each

The training price includes access to 50 KALAA yoga classes.

Important Information

  • Trainees have the opportunity to participate online for up to 3 training weekends.

  • An additional 2.5-hour online follow- up session is held once a month on Wednesdays at 5.30 pm.

  • Participants will receive a 50-class pass from KALAA Yoga Berlin for the duration of the training in order to deepen the respective content in addition to the training sessions.

  • A total of at least 20 classes must be completed in presence or online.

  • Participation in the entire program as well as the successful presentation of your own research and final class are prerequisites for the training certificate.

  • All missed classes must be recovered.

  • Missing up to 8 training sessions can be made up in self-study.

  • All other missed units will be recovered with an instructor in the form of private lessons at KALAA Yoga Berlin.
